‘Surrealism' is the key element when it come to a vertical reality as the image is created so seamlessly that in a glance may look like a perfectly rational and believable image but, a vertical reality has the element of ‘impossibilism’, thus creating an image that being out fantasy and imagination. A surrealist image is a ‘analogical, linking associations through acts of displacement and representation (Druckrey 1994, p.6). According to Erik Johansson, his take a ray of different pic- tures and put them together to make an image that is ‘out of this world’. His process doesn't end but starts when his press the snap button not the camera. He says that a lot of work going into plan- ning his vision as it is more than just being ‘at the right place at the right time’ (Johansson 2012).

The hurdle I had with the part of the assignment was executing my idea and making the image seamless. My limiting factor in producing a good virtual reality is my knowledge and skill in photoshop is still pretty basic. Therefore, I push myself and to broaden my knowledge and skill by watching many videos and manage to come out with a fairly successful virtual reality. Its is simplis- tic and real yet has the element of ‘impossibilism’. The learning process was fun and eye-opening. From this part of the assignment, I realise how limitless Photoshop can be when the knowledge and skill have been acquired.
